Some blatant self-promotion and an offer for you to get involved - Write for the CPRS-Hamilton website!
A Comment on our Website
In a blatant example of self promotion, I would like to share a comment received by Al Czarnecki, APR regarding our website:
Your website looks and works GREAT. I like the way you lead with news, give visitors an opportunity to comment, and have two RSS feeds.
Hamilton has the most elegant and functional CPRS member site I’ve come across, and I’ve just visited all of them.
So, wouldn’t you like to be a part of this website?

- Interested in promoting discussion on relevant public relations topics?
- Can’t get enough of writing?
- Need some more pieces to add to your portfolio?
If any or all of the above apply to you, keep reading! The CPRS Hamilton website, cprs-hamilton.ca, was relaunched in January 2007 and is looking for content to post on the site. There is a broad range of PR-related topics to cover and by being online, today’s PR topics can be written about today.
The online format also allows for interaction with readers through commenting. This opens up any article into a two way conversation allowing for different opinions and suggestions. Topics can include developments in public relations locally, nationally and globally; website or book reviews; case studies; "what would you do?" type scenarios; and many more.
