CPRS Hamilton names its Board of Directors for 2009-2010
The new CPRS Board of Directors for 2009-2010 was approved at the Annual General Meeting in May 2009. The incoming Board thanks the members of the 2008-2009 Board for their hard work and leadership, and congratulates Liliana Busnello on her re-election as President. Some Board positions remain open. CPRS Hamilton Annual Report for 2008-2009 now available online
The 2008-2009 CPRS Hamilton annual report was approved at the society’s Annual General Meeting in May 2009. The document contains a summary of activities as well as the financial statements for the 2008-2009 fiscal year. (Click here for the PDF of the report)
Courtney Pratt, former CEO of Stelco to speak on Crisis Communications
CEO throughout Stelco’s tumultuous bankruptcy proceedings, Courtney Pratt has authored a book detailing this period entitled, “Into the Blast Furnace”. Speaking as part of McMaster University’s Continuing Education Program, Mr. Pratt will discuss the role that communicators played behind the scenes. CPRS Hamilton members are welcome to attend this event free of charge.*
