New Year’s Resolution

The start of a new year has always been a time for looking back to the past, and more importantly, forward to the coming year. It’s a time to reflect on the changes we want (or need) to make and resolve to follow through on those changes. Is ‘working toward accreditation’ on your list this year?

Where your career in public relations takes you is based on individual drive, determination and diligence. The Accredited in Public Relations (APR) designation proves you have successfully demonstrated competency in the knowledge, skills and abilities required to practice public relations effectively in today’s business arena.

To be eligible for accreditation, candidates must be members of the Canadian Public Relations Society and have been employed full time in public relations, with more than half of this time spent in public relations professional activities, for not less than five years.

If you meet these requirements and you would like to start working toward your APR application, contact
