CPRS Hamilton Elects 2010-11 Board of Directors
CPRS Hamilton is pleased to announce the 2010-11 Board of Directors, who were elected at the society’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 11, 2010.

The roles of Secretary, External Communications and Sponsorship were vacant at the time of the AGM. Since that time, the following positions have been filled:

The role of Sponsorship Chair remains vacant. The Nominating Committee for the 2010 AGM recommends that the position be filled no later than June 4, 2010. Please contact Nancy Hutton, APR, if you are interested.
2009-10 Annual Report
The 2009-10 Annual Report was also presented to the membership at the AGM.
CPRS Hamilton Legacy Fund
Past President Liliana Busnello announced the creation of the CPRS Hamilton Legacy Fund, to recognize the achievements of the 2006 National Canadian Public Relations Conference in Niagara Falls, which was hosted by CPRS Hamilton under the leadership of Kimberlee Lambe.
The award was established to encourage and recognize higher learning in the field of public relations within the membership of CPRS Hamilton, and will be managed by the Hamilton Community Foundation.
A scholarship of $1,000 may be awarded annually to a full-time member of the CPRS Hamilton member society, who has completed a full-time graduate-level program in the area of public relations or communications.
More details on the Legacy Fund will follow.
