Our Mission
The Canadian Public Relations Society Hamilton promotes ethical standards of professional practice and conduct among its members while developing public awareness of the value and function of the public relations profession.
About CPRS
The Canadian Public Relations Society is a not-for-profit organization whose members are engaged in the practice, management or teaching of public relations. The National Society’s mission is to work toward maintaining high standards in public relations and to advance the professional knowledge, skills and status of those in the field. The National Society is a federation of member societies, governed by a board of directors and administered by staff from offices in Ottawa. Member societies are administered by the members of their volunteer boards of directors. In the case of both the National Society and its member Societies, the governing boards are elected at annual general meetings. CPRS Hamilton’s Annual General Meeting is held each April. All members in good standing are eligible to seek office and to vote for officers.
